Oct2021

Saturday Morning October 16th, day of my Memorial High School 55th reunion.  There was no Sunday Morning as had a Football Special.  But Saturdays are becoming just as inspired, so watched this instead on Sunday Morning.

Home grown more important than how cooked … Cooking donuts with peddle power … My role as a mentor is to be a cheerleader … Bad beer to raise awareness- always learning … Driving for Change … When you have a problem music is the answer …

October 10 – my BD Weekend …

October 16 – my 55th Memorial High School Reunion

No CBS Sunday – football day. So I watched Saturday Morning instead as it has become as interesting as Sunday.  I was a “zombie” at my MHS Reunion and still kicking myself for only getting 2 photos. Wanting to recreate and invite our Houston classmates over for a group photo, include Dicky Sparks, my 12th grade grandson’s entrepreneurship and business finance teacher as well as Scott Black who has come over to visit about becoming a teacher.  Also included a photo of the Batman and Robin Halloween costume I made 50 years ago back when you could not buy pre-packaged costumes and had to create your own. My daughter has continued this tradition with family themes. This year is Zombies. To think my 5 year old granddaughter was afraid to go in to see the dinosaurs at the HMNS.  Glad, as we had so much fun exploring with no time schedule the butterfly exhibit, curiosity room, sea shells, jewelry and space exhibit before heading to the Hermann Park train and zoo area. We started by checking out our Rosie the Riveter Roses.
