Dilemma

“A minute saved is a minute earned.”

When I observe an inefficient use of time or money, do I say something?

  • Planning
    • Today I bought water for hurricane preparedness. When I see lines of people trying to buy supplies because they waited until the last minute, I wonder why.
    • Meetings that respect participant’s time. Talking too long about an issue, not watching air time, and a meeting agenda that does not have the details and goals, frustrates me.
  • Process
    • People who focus on why things won’t work, instead of brainstorming what might work.
    • Meetings / Webinars /Workshops that spend most the time talking about the problem instead of coming up with an action plan to solve the challenge.
